At the Office of Congressman Ruben Gallego, I learned a variety of lessons. Some of the most important were learning how to network. I learned that it is important to learn how to talk to people because harboring relationships are key to expanding communities. A great deal of the time the relationships can lead having people believe in your mission.
Also I learned how to conduct
research, and why it is important. The research I was able to do was based on governmental
agencies. I learned how to go back and forth between information. As well as
making sure to select what information was key. I was able to achieve me install goals, of learning how the government works, and how to become a better leader. As of today I feel like my perspective of the government has changed to know that as citizens we are the ones who make the difference and the government is in change of protecting our values.
